Kheer

Ingredients

  • Banyan Trunk Cardamom Extract

  • Banyan Trunk Kesar Extract


  • 4 Cups Full-fat Milk

  • 1/4 Cup Long-grained Rice (Basmati)

  • 1/4 Cup Sugar

  • Chopped Dry Fruits


Preparation

1. Soak the Basmati Rice in water for 15 to 20 minutes. 

2. Take the milk in a saucepan and bring it to a boil.

3. Drain all the water from the rice and add the rice to the boiling milk.

4. Cook the rice grains till they are half-cooked.

5. Add 4-6 tbsp of sugar as per taste.

6. Simmer till the rice is almost cooked.

7. Add Dry Fruits as per choice. 

8. Continue to cook on low heat till the Rice Kheer thickens and check if the rice grains have been cooked completely.

9. Switch off the heat and keep it aside to cool (rice kheer will further thicken on cooling)

10. Add 2-3 drops of Banyan Trunk Cardomom Extract and 2-3 drops of Banyan Trunk Kesar Extract in an empty serving bowl.

11. Pour the Kheer into the bowl and mix it well.

12. Enjoy your Cardamom Kesar Rice Kheer!
